- Product Details: Made of fluoroplastic and borosilicate glass. This stirrer bearing is particularly suitable for long-term use. The special construction of this stirrer bearing assures that abrasion will not cause pollution of the medium to be stirred. And the outer diameters of the stirrer shafts, either made of a fluoroplastic material (with a stainless-steel core), glass or stainless-steel, will not be worn out. The us© a cooling tank filled with a lubricant reduces the coefficient of friction and prevents overheating during long-term trials. The bedding itself is effected between and glass. The bearing together with the lubricant (which is not exposed to the medium) allow the best possible guidance with a minimum of friction and abrasion. The vacuum gasket in the bearing can be reset easily at any time by an adjusting nut. This stirrer bearing can be used for a speed up to 500 revolutions per minute (for a short time up to 1000 rpm) and under vacuum up to a minimum of 700 mm Hg and under light overpressure.
