Bohlender Laboratory Screw Joints provide a wide range of fluoroplastic components that are used to attach tubes to bottles, lids, distributors and similar laboratory containers. the components are easily adapted to varying sizes of tubing over a wide range of external diameters. This section shows by means of sectioned drawings how the joints are assembled. For details of available sizes Bohlender laboratory Screw Joints |

A universal system developed for connecting tubes or tubing. - in particular, for easy assembly of fluoroplastic (PTFE, PFA, FEP) tubing with glass or metal tubes. The connections are very easy to handle, very safe and pressure resistant and fulfil many laboratory requirements.. This patented fittings system allows working pressures of up to 10 bar (at room temperature). The fittings and stopcocks are made of pure PTFE; assembled with HT Laboratory screw joints, they are resistant to temperatures up to +250°C. The universal chemical resistance of the fluoroplastic materials allows the application of these GL tube fittings with almost all liquids and gases.

A system developed for fluoroplastic tubing/tube and also for tubes made of glass or metal. The gasket is designed to allow a working pressure up to approx. 5 bar. The fittings, stopcocks and valves are made of pure PTFE. The nut is either in PP, an economical plastic material, however, with a restricted chemical and thermal resistance (10 - 100°C) or in PTFE, virtually resistant to all chemicals and therefore an ideal material for many applications.
