Ultrasonic sensors solve tough sensing
problems, detecting targets made of practically any material
in difficult environments. Ultrasonic sensors are ideal
for presence/absence sensing and precision distance sensing
or tracking. They are particularly useful where other sensing
technologies have difficulties such as with clear or shiny
objects, foggy or particle laden air and splashing liquids
and where larger sensors and longer sensing distances are
required.
