Industrial Scales

The KERN industrial scales series includes a large range of solar scales, table scales, counting scales, platform scales, stainless steel scales, floor scales and palette scales, as well as heavy load crane scales for industrial use.

DKD Certification

Kern is an authorized Calibration laboratory; authrozed by the German Governement calibration laboratory DKD

The precision of a balance or a test weight is measured through a calibration (precise measurement) and is confirmed with a written certificate. The customer has the assurance that the correct measure in the tolerances frame is indicated.

At KERN, all calibrations procedures are subsequent to the international DKD (German Calibration Service) regulations

Calibration is basically a non national "verification" for all areas that are not subject to official verification.

When a company is accredited to ISO 9000ff, it agrees to test periodically the precision of all measuring equipments within its quality assurance systems (ISO 9000, QS 9000, GLP, GLM). This is also required for its weighing measuring equipment.

From single weights to complete weight sets, from stainless steel to cast iron steel. Kern also offers accessories for your test weights. Kern can issue a DKD certificate for new or existing weights.
