High performance, reliable, easy to operate high vacuum units are a compact efficient source of high vacuum producing ultimate pressures < 1 x 10-6 mbar ( 0.75 x 10-6 Torr ).The high vacuum units comprise an air cooled oil diffusion pump and a 2-stage rotary vane pump. The Roots Pumping Units extend the fine vacuum range by providing high volume throughput combinations of roots pumps and diaphragm pumps. The VARIO versions have a "mechatronic" speed control that optimizes pumping speed for varying gas loads.

The systems provide an ultimate vacuum of 0.2 mbar ( 0.15 Torr ) and high volume throughput. The Roots pumping systems are chemically resistant and are ideal for applications that require a fine vacuum and high pump speeds. The systems include diaphragm pumps, roots pumps controller and necessary piping and valves. the Roots pumping system is completely oil free.
