Using the Internet, we reduce the costs
of distribution for our suppliers and provide our customers with the
best products and service at the best price. Our on-line business model
saves costs; we pass the savings on to our customers.

Range. We
maintain close relations with our suppliers and select only those who
complement each other. We specialize in Vacuum
Pumps, Vacuum Distribution, Vacuum Connections, Cryogenics, Dewar Flasks,
Optronics, Sensors, Plastic Valves, Sensors, Laboratory Glassware
and Dosing Pumps.
Online
Store. We
have no sales people or warehouse. We work closely with each product manufacturer
ensuring accuracy
and speed.
Technical descriptions are complete, precise and available online. Our
customers have immediate access to product specifications, drawings and
other details and have the option to contact engineers at the manufacturer
directly. Buying is as easy as clicking on a shopping cart.
Shipping. Products
can be shipped throughout North America and Worldwide. They come directly
from the factory to your location by UPS. Delivery times are
normally 2 - 3 days and certain items are available overnight when the
manufacturer
has a North America warehouse. Shipping costs are added to the invoice.
Finemech passes its special UPS prices directly on to you or is happy
to use your own freight arrangements.
Service & Technical
Support. We
provide answers to enquiries directly by phone and e-mail. Service doesn't
stop when you take delivery; any questions concerning use, performance
and maintenance of our products
will be handled promptly and completely. All our items come with full warranty
and Finemech and our suppliers will expedite warranty claims.

Boot, B. Sc. (Mechanical Engineering). President & CEO
Peter Boot is a qualified mechanical engineer who has built a successful career
in the high technology industry in the United States. After graduating from the
University of London, he worked as a design engineer with Foster Wheeler Corp.
He has successfully managed the European operations of Conner Peripherals, a
large computer disk drive manufacturer. Based in Munich, he ran Hyperwave AG
a fast growing knowledge management company and recently he was CEO of eHotel
a company that provides wireless infrastructure to the hotel industry. Peter
Boot has lived and worked in Germany and the USA. He has a track record of 25
years in business and combines a strong engineering background with commercial
success in the North American marketplace. |

Ing. Marianne Plunder, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
Marianne Plunder is an experienced engineer who has made her career in marketing
and sales. She started out at Siemens in Germany and has held senior positions
in Sales, Marketing and Partner Management with Hewlett Packard, Digital Equipment
Corporation, Apple Computer and Oracle; she has worked and lived in Germany and
the USA. Marianne Plunder is skilled at introducing new products to new markets
and is an expert in selling technical products. She has a strong knowledge of
business practices in the USA and she combines an in-depth knowledge of on-line
sales and marketing techniques tailored for the US market with empathy for the
needs of vendors in German speaking countries. |
